Popis: BABIES SCULPTURES – KAMPA (MIMINKA) The Babies sculptures are among Prague's most unusual works of modern art, created by the famous Czech artist David Černý. Since 2008, three giant bronze babies have been permanently displayed in Kampa Park, next to Museum Kampa. Each sculpture is approximately 3.5 metres long and weighs 800 kilograms. The babies have normal bodies, but instead of faces, they have barcode-like patterns. The artist's work explores themes such as modern technology, commercialization, and the loss of individuality. Interestingly, 10 similar babies can also be seen crawling up the Žižkov Television Tower, where they were installed in 2001. Unlike those on the tower, the babies on Kampa can be seen up close and even touched, making them a popular spot for unusual photos.
